Fall Yard Sale Is Here!

Preparations are well underway for Senior Center, Inc.’s annual Fall Yard Sale.

Sale Donations needed.

Drop-off hours: Sun. 2-6 pm, Mon. & Fri. 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Tues. - Thurs. 8:30 am-8:30 pm. Pick-up by volunteers can be arranged upon request.

This year’s Sale will kick-off with a Preview Sale on Thursday, October 23rd from
6:00-8:00 pm with a $5 admission at the door.

The Sale will continue on Friday, October 24th from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and will wrap up with a Half Price Sale on Saturday, October 25th from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Admission on Friday and Saturday is free.

Items will include books, collectables, electronics, furniture, glass ware, home décor,
house wares, jewelry, lamps, linens, select furnishings, and much, much more.

This has been a huge success in years past and we hope you will join us in making this year’s sale an even bigger one. You can be a part of the success!

* Shop! Mark the sale on your calendar for Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th. Don’t forget the Sale Preview on Thursday, October 23rd.

* Tell a friend or two or three! The more people that shop, the more money we can raise to benefit the Center.

* Give! Collectables, electronics, furniture, glass ware, home décor, house wares, jewelry, linens, etc. are accepted. (We cannot accept bicycles, car/child safety seats, clothing, computers and related equipment, cribs, exercise equipment, large appliances, books/magazines, mattresses, medical equipment, or TV’s not cable ready. Sorry!)

* Volunteer! We need your help to set-up on Thursday, October 23rd and provide customer service and clean up on Thursday evening, Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th.

The series of Furniture and Yard Sales held throughout the year constitute the Senior Center’s largest fundraising event – generating over $38,000 this last fiscal year alone! Without the Sales, membership could cost an additional $17 per member. The success of the Sales helps ensure the success of the Center.
