Announcing New Member Benefits

In a pursuit to provide our members even more reasons to smile about their Senior Center membership, we announce Senior Center Member Benefits. These are exclusive benefits provided to Senior Center members by companies in the Charlottesville area. For many years, ACAC has given Senior Center members up to 50% off the initiation fee at ACAC, and the Jefferson Institute of Lifelong Learning (JILL) has given members $10 off the course fee.

Last month, we announced that the Courtyard by Marriott located off Hillsdale Drive and Residence Inn off Millmont Street will give Senior Center members the best possible rate available at the time of booking, AND will give the Senior Center 10% of the total bill for each member booking.

This month, we announce two new Member Benefits:

Assured Home Health Care guarantees members and those they provide care for the lowest price in town on private-pay home health care services in their service area. (There is a two hour minimum.) Current prices are available at the front desk. If you would like more information or would like to book a health care provider to come to your residence, call Assured Home Health Care at 977-0692.

Ntelos gives Senior Center members two free phone accessories when purchasing a new calling plan. You can pick from a car charger, a headset or a leather case - a $60 value! In addition, they will waive the $35 activation fee per line. And always, you get a free phone when at Ntelos with purchase of a new calling plan.
