Shoe Drive

We are once again collecting shoes for the homeless, contributing to a community-wide shoe drive that runs through the end of the month. If you have used but usable shoes to contribute, please leave them in the collection basket in the lobby. Thank you!

Great Decisions Begins TODAY!

January 25, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

UVa Prof. Scott Harrop will speak on the topic "Middle East Realignment." Different topics, different speakers every Wednesday through March 28. The program is free, fascinating, and open to ALL.

Ballroom Dance

Tuesdays, 2:00-2:55 p.m.

Want a fun way to exercise? Try Ballroom Dance on with Cathleen Rhodes of Terry Dean's Dance Studio. It's fabulous physical and mental exercise, doesn't require special clothes, the music is great, and it's fun! Beginners welcome and no partner is necessary. So what's stopping you from joining the party? Register and pay at the front desk. Open to ALL. $40 per month

Tai Chi
Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Stimulate your immune system, lower your blood pressure, decrease your stress, and improve your balance. Beginners should start on a Monday. M $36 per month/Guests $49 per month (3 classes per week)

AARP Tax Aide
Begins Thursday, February 2
It's that time ... again. Additional days this year mean more of you will be able to take advantage of this FREE service:
Sundays 2:30-4:30 p.m.; Mondays 1:00 -3:00 p.m.;
Thursdays 12:30-7:30 p.m.; and Fridays 1:00-3:00 p.m.
There are no "walk-ins" for this service -- you MUST make an appointment at the Senior Center Front Desk (434-974-7756).
