Be “In the Know” about The Senior Center New Membership Card System

By now you have likely heard about our new membership card system, whether it be through the article in the July Times, the introductory letter to members, the It’s Happening e-newsletter, or simply talk around the Center.

As we continue to progress with this important resource improvement, we also want to continue sharing information with you about the system. Rooted in our desire to better serve our members, volunteers and community, the membership card system is the next step in improving our programs, events and services, expanding the value of membership through the discount/incentives program, and collecting useful information that can help us plan for the present, as well as the future.

We will be hosting “You Are in the Know” informational socials. The socials will be fun and focused including a demonstration of the system, ample opportunity to ask questions, a chance to pick-up your new membership card, an opportunity to pose for the camera (cheese!), refreshments, and door prizes. To accommodate hectic schedules, the socials will be held at varying days and times from mid-August through September (and longer if needed). You will be receiving additional information on the socials in the mail as well as notes in the It’s Happening e-newsletter and flyers throughout the building.
