Building and Grounds

The Building Committee
meets to analyze building maintenance problems and needs at the Senior Center on Pepsi Place, and to develop action plans for their solutions. The Building Committee is centered around work teams having volunteers with diverse experiences in general construction, painting, electrical, plumbing, and general handy work needed to tackle specific issues as well as monitor general maintenance and safety.

Seabrook RoseThe Grounds Committee maintains flowers and plantings on the grounds and exterior structures. The Rose Garden is maintained exclusively with volunteer help, using the guidance of Crystal Kennamer.  The rose bush planted in honor of Elizabeth Seabrook is shown here. Visit our Rose Garden in person or click here.

Members wishing to make a significant contribution to the ongoing operation of the Center will find these groups a fine place to start. Those who have some experience in gardening, landscaping, or building maintenance would be most welcome. Just plain grunt work is appreciated as well.

For more information as to how you can be a part of these important work teams, please contact the following persons.
