Bridge-A-Rama
Roundup for Fall
2010
If
you enjoy playing contract bridge and would like to meet new faces,
consider joining our group of congenial players. Bridge-A-Rama is a round
robin affair; four players each meet once a month at a team member’s home
and play 20 hands of bridge. The date and time is chosen by each team.
Results are logged in and presented to the entire group at the May
Dessert and Prize Awards party. All you need to join is a partner and $1
entrance fee per person. We play September through April and in May we all
gather for a final occasion of playing bridge and finding out who are the
winners. The nice part is that you will play with a different couple each
month and thus meet different members of the group. There will be a
sign-up sheet at the Senior Center front desk. Please
sign up no later than August 20 so that the paper work can be
completed before the start of the new season. For further

Vince-A-Rama
Begins
Tuesday, September 14, 1:00–4:00
p.m.
All those interested in playing
bridge in the 2010-2011 Vince-A-Rama should sign up and pay $20 per
person to the Senior Center. It is desirable that at least one member of each team
pair should have been a bridge student of Vince Giuliano. Games will be
played monthly from October through May and prizes will be awarded at a
bridge party for participants in June at the Senior Center.
For
those who would like to play their games at the Senior Center, space will
be available from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month from October through May.
Those who prefer to play at home may continue to do so. If you are
interested, please sign up even though you do not have a partner, and an
attempt will be made to pair you with another player. If you have

Duplicate Bridge
The Thursday afternoon duplicate bridge is in full swing. We start
playing promptly at 12:30 and play until 4 p.m. All skill levels are

Contract Bridge
Contract Bridge group begins in September with
play starting at 1:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th
Fridays. Groups of 4 can be incorporated into play. For info,

Party Bridge
Party Bridge
Lite meets on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon. You do not
need a partner to come, but of course it helps! FREE for members; guests
welcome with fee. Members interested in playing, but in need of a partner,
leave your name at the Front Desk. For information, contact Lois Brown at
973-8611.
Party Bridge is a multi-table contest in which
participants compete against a field of pairs playing Contract Bridge.
There is much interaction – and a rowdy good time – as pairs move to
different tables for different rounds of play.
Vince's Tuesday Alumni
Bridge
The Alumni Groups were established from
those who learned from and played with bridge player extraordinaire and
beloved Senior Center member, Vince Giuliano. This alumni group meets the
2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Craft
Room. Call Ann Clough at 245-9020 for information.

Bridge
This group is currently four people
meeting once a week outside of the Center. If you are interested in
having this type of bridge available at the Center, contact
