WOOD CARVERS ART

Albemarle Carvers

The objective of the Albemarle Carvers is to foster good fellowship in a creative environment. The level of skill of the members range from amateur to show class artist.

These web pages provide an opportunity for the Albemarle Carvers to show and discuss their work.

Wannabee, novice, and accomplished woodcarvers are welcome to join us  Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. to learn the craft, hone skills, and offer guidance toward skill improvement. In the words of founder Will Hansen, "If you can peel a potato, you can learn to do woodcarving." Current members offer assistance and loan supplies to get new members started and provide info on tools and supplies needed to continue. FREE; members only.

Please call Luther Gore (434) 296-9771 for more information.
