All Things Digital

The meetings of those interested in "All Things Digital" will reflect a variety of subjects about new and sometimes older digital technology, and what it can do for you and for all peoples of the world. Most devices from cars to iPads contain digital computers. We are broadening our outlook to have meetings on all these things. We meet on the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in Room A, and have refreshments during our informal "forum" after the meeting.

Senior Center members can register for our email notification list with an email to . Apple/Mac users can access their web page and learn about their weekly meeting in the menu above. Members can also receive training in computer usage by volunteers in the Computer Center. Contact Dawn by email for an appointment -- otherwise call the Senior Center Desk at 974-7756. Topic: Smart Phones and Their Carriers
Which one is best for you?

Andre Saunders and his team from Best Buy will give an introductory piece about how far mobile technology has come, and an overview of the various carriers. This will be followed with an extended discussion and Q&A on the merits of the various carriers.

Not yet own a smart phone? This session can help you decide if you need one and which one to buy. Bring your questions and concerns and Andre and his team will answer them. Enjoy refreshments after the meeting and attend the forum to discuss member experiences with technology. Open to all.
