Backup Outlook Express Address Book:
Outlook Express uses the Windows Address Book to store all of your e-mail addresses along with address and phone information. To back this address database up, just follow these directions:
1. Click on "Start" and then on "Run".
2. In the Run box, type WAB and press "enter" on the keyboard or click "OK" in the Run box. This will bring up your Windows Address Book.
3. In the Windows Address Book, click "File" in the menu bar, then point to "Export" and click "Address Book (WAB)".
4. A window will appear allowing you to pick the place to save your exported file. At the top of the window, click the drop down arrow next to "Save in" and select your floppy drive. (Have floppy disk in drive.)
5. Near the bottom of the window there is a place to put the file name. Give your file a name and click "Save".
6. Now your address book file is on the floppy. Store it in a safe place in case you ever need it. You might want to repeat the process every few months to make sure you have an up-to date backup.
7. If you ever need to restore your address book, follow the directions above, only chose "Import" instead of "export"
