To increase text size in your browser (Internet
Explorer):
View Menu > Text Size
Choose the size that you want: Largest-Larger-Medium-Smaller-Smallest
Sometimes the designer of the web page overrides the text size
selection, and you cannot chage the size.
Clearing
Internet Explorer’s
AutoComplete Entries
AutoComplete is the information you type in a form, email address
or
other text field, and Internet Explorer remembers what you type, and
enters that text automatically for you. Sometimes you want to
clean out all the old information. To clear all those past
entries you can do the following:
Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools
Click on Internet Options
Click the Content Tab
Click the AutoComplete
Click Clear Forms
If your computer doesn’t AutoComplete but you want it to, follow the
above directions and check the boxes that apply.
Stop Third Party Toolbars
Has an extra toolbar appeared on you computer? Many of these
are
spyware and some send you pop-ups. These toolbars are created
using extensions. Some extensions are desirable. To learn
more about extensions, click here.
Third-party extensions can be prevented in Internet Explorer 6 as
follows:
Click on Tools
Click on Internet Options
Click on Advanced and then scroll down.
(Underneath “Browsing” uncheck the box thast says “Enable
third-party browser extensions”.
Click on OK
