July 2004

Web Page Text Size

To increase text size in your browser (Internet Explorer):

View Menu > Text Size
Choose the size that you want: Largest-Larger-Medium-Smaller-Smallest

Sometimes the designer of the web page overrides the text size selection, and you cannot chage the size.

Clearing Internet Explorer’s AutoComplete Entries

AutoComplete is the information you type in a form, email address or other text field, and Internet Explorer remembers what you type, and enters that text automatically for you.  Sometimes you want to clean out all the old information.  To clear all those past entries you can do the following:

Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools
Click on Internet Options
Click the Content Tab
Click the AutoComplete
Click Clear Forms

If your computer doesn’t AutoComplete but you want it to, follow the above directions and check the boxes that apply.
