To send a file or picture
somewhere, right click the file name and hover over 'Send To'.
You will get a menu of places
where you can easily send the file.
Just click on the destination you desire. If there is a
destination you often use that is not on the menu, you can add it as
follows.
1. Right-click your Start Button, then Explore (do not use Explore All Users in Windows XP).
2. Head to the
Windows\SendTo\ folder (it's probably just above the folder you landed
in when Explorer opened).

If you're using Win XP, you'll need to make sure you have your computer set to
Show Hidden Files and Folders. You can do this under Explorer by hitting
the Tools menu, Folder Options. Next hit the View tab. You'll see an
option for "Show Hidden Files and Folders" there. Select that and hit OK. You'll
be able to see the SendTo folder under the Documents and Settings/USER_NAME
folder (The USER_NAME is the name you use for your custom settings on
Win XP).
3. To remove items you don't
want listed on the menu, just delete them.
4. To add items to the menu, do one of the following depending on the item type.
a.) To add any item, just drag its
shortcut to the SendTo folder. Note that
you want to use your RIGHT mouse button to do this. If you drag with your
left mouse button, you may remove the shortcut from it's original location. If
you right-click and drag, when you release you get a little menu that lets
you choose to copy, move, etc. Choose Copy.
b.) If you drag a file to the SendTo folder using the RIGHT mouse button, you will get a menu that allows you to Create Shortcut Here. Use this option to leave the file where it is and put the shortcut into the SendTo folder.
c.) You can put a shortcut to a folder in the Send To menu also. When you drag a folder to the SendTo folder using the RIGHT mouse button, you will get a menu that allows you to Create Shortcut Here. Then later when you right-click on a file and use the Send To menu, you will send the file to the folder.
