International Folk Dancing
Wednesdays, 6:00-8:25 p.m.
Get exercise while having fun and relaxing! Learn line, circle, sets and
couple dances from around the world with authentic world music. No dancing
experience required – three experienced teachers guide participants through
dances and participants learn at own pace. The first half of each session
features teaching and review and the rest of the evening is dedicated to dancing
to requests with occasional reviews. FREE for members and guests; $4 for
non-members eligible for Senior Center membership (age 50+). For more info,

Join us Wednesday evenings in
Room B for two and a half hours of instruction and practice of folk
dances. The repertoire of dances included in the Tuesday night
sessions exceeds 100!
This cultural activity shares customs and
traditions of nations throughout the world combined with physical
activity and enjoyment gained while learning the story of the dance.
International Dancing consists of folk dances from around the world.
Authentic village folk dances from many countries are taught to
traditional music. People learn circle, line and partner (plus trio)
dances, done at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
Senior Center, Inc. members Elais and Jane
Plaza-Meyer serve as co-leaders of this club. No prior experience
necessary. Everyone is welcome to come out and experience the fun
