2012 Annual Registration Meeting
Thursday, March 15, 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.

The season begins April 2 and ends October 29. Meadowcreek Golf Course in Pen Park reserves Monday mornings for senior play on the back nine. Greens fees and cart fees, which are set by the golf course, will be announced at the meeting. Come renew old friendships or make new ones. For more information, call Membership Chairman, Mary Rose Dreelin at 434-973-6323.  Dues are $10.

Your Invitation: From April through October a group of seniors play golf each Monday* at the Meadow Creek Golf course. Some of us walk and some of us ride the short, yet sporty back nine holes but all of us enjoy meeting new players, old friends and the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. We try to match players of similar ability. While most of us only play nine holes, many go on to play the full eighteen.

Results of our recent senior golf outing:
We had 20 seniors venture down to Amherst County to play at the Winton Country Club. It was a little warm—95+ degrees in the shade!  However, we did have a great time! I did not get all of the scores, but Zeke Hanchak won closest to the pin on Hole # 6 and Brian Edson won closest to the pin on Hole #16.
 
Our next special outing will be held at Birdwood Golf Course on July 6. If anyone else wants to join in the fun, just contact Brian Edson at edsoncvfc@embarqmail.com.

Tee times start at 8:00 a.m. in April, getting earlier as the weather gets warmer.  For more information about tee times, or other questions, contact the appropriate starter.
