All hikers meet at the Senior Center and then leave at 9:00 a.m.

4/4 A group is planning a special hike on April 4 from VSH 56 as follows:

    From the junction of the AT and route 56, North, on the AT, then the Mau-Har trail to Maupin Field, then the AT, S, over Three Ridges
    back to 56. The distance is 14 miles, with "beaucoup" vertical to be gained. This hike starts at the trailhead at 7:30 AM.

Accordingly, Jack Turnbull is changing the "standard" hike as follows:

    From the junction of the AT and route 56, North, on the AT as far as Chimney Rock on Three Ridges, and back. The total distance
    will be about 8.5 miles. We start as usual at the Senior Center at 9:00 AM. We hope to meet the other group between 12:00 and 1:00 PM.
