Horseshoes

Men and women welcome!  A Senior Center group is pitching horseshoes on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. at Penn Park, whenever the weather is fit. Shoes are provided if you do not have your own, and instruction is free.  Shoes weigh two pounds and are pitched from 37 feet, 27 feet or 17 feet depending upon age, gender and ability. There is lots of friendly banter and noticeable growth in skill with even a little practice.  We get in two or three matches in a little over an hour, and call it a morning. Free to all members!
