Wednesdays, 6:30-8:25 p.m.

Dancing for Intermediate and Experienced Dancers at 7:30 p.m. is a fun time of exercise as participants dance their favorites with long-standing and new friends. On the 4th Wednesday, dancing will start at 6:30 p.m.

Each 55 minute session is FREE for members and $4 for guests.

Dot Cagley gets us moving! For information, call Dot at 973-3030.  Prior to Ed's passing, Dot and Ed were retired World Champion dancers who traveled extensively to dance competitions where they did the scoring and performed in the dinner shows. Dot Cagley

Line dancing burns calories, increases metabolism, stimulates endorphins (the body's feel-good hormone), relieves depression and anxiety, and in addition, is a general all-around stress reducer. When we get our bodies moving to some stimulating music and learn new steps to a few line dances, it increases confidence and stimulates our brain. Also, you will find that the Senior Center line dancers care more about having 'fun' than how accurate the dance steps are.
