Studies show that the physical and mental processes involved in singing helps alleviate tension because the body just naturally responds to singing by relaxing. Being together with other seniors who also enjoy singing has added benefits such as improving healing and mood. All of this for free! The Senior Center (with Tom Hurlburt as our leader and piano player) offers a Sing Along on the third Wednesday of each month. Bring a friend/neighbor with you!  For info, call (434) 974-6595.
