"This year has flown by with many delicious luncheons and exciting activities. I would like to give a special thanks to all the hostesses who stepped forward and gave of their time and talents—I couldn’t have done it all without you. Thanks also to Lorraine Cote, who continued as our bookkeeper, and to our carpool drivers. You all did a terrific job. We will break for July and August and begin again in September. May each of you have a safe, fun-filled summer with family and friends."

Directions: Take Barracks Road (which turns into Garth Road) past Foxfield Race Course. Turn right on Free Union Road just past Hunt Country Store. Take the second major road to the right. Your landmark before Horseshoe Bend Road is a large estate on the right (Eagle Hill) with a row of pine trees behind the fence. The Russell home is midway up the road on the left. Call Sandy if you are lost at 973-5239.

The Red Hat Society formed about seven years ago as a result of a few women deciding to greet middle age with verve, humor and élan. The Red Hat Society has grown to more than 30,000 chapters with an estimated 600,000 members in 22 countries, and continues to grow at a rate of 500 new chapters a week. The antics of these fun-loving ladies are featured in newspapers nearly every other day, in addition to TV and radio interviews throughout much of the United States and Canada.
