Senior Center, Inc. and the local Senior Softball group are looking for men and women who love to play softball to join The Retreads.  More than half of us are over 65 and we welcome men who are 55 and over, and women who are 40 and better.  Players meet at Darden Towe Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. (9:00 a.m. on hot summer days). We believe in teamwork –sluggers can request a runner to cover the bases! Bring your softball shoes and glove, and ask for Larry. Our season ends in mid-October.

A slow pitch softball scrimmage game is played after warm-ups. Many players are in their 70s, and you can have a designated runner out of the box. Be prepared to see how well active 70-year-olds hit!  Fans are always welcome to participate in the team potluck that follows game two. Bring a covered dish to share and, if you don't wish to sit on bleachers, BYO chair. FREE and open to all.  NOTE: Men and women who love to play are invited to bring softball shoes and glove to Darden Towe. For information, contact , 245-4024.
