Rockingham Meats

Our Rockingham Franks are just fine,
Also our Sliced Luncheon Meat line.
We have Honeyloaf, Pepper Loaf, Olive Loaf, P & P too,
We have Tas-tee Loaf, Savory Loaf, Buffet Loaf, and Dutch Loaf,
Made especially for you.
And our Bologna cannot be beat,
For a Sliced Luncheon Meat treat.

Our Hams are cured to perfection,
And our Bacon certainly needs no correction.
Our Picnics are delicious,
And our Sausage is sure nutritious.

Now, our Pork is usually fine,
As I’m sure you’ll agree most of the time.
There are loins, butts, ribs, and backs,
Tails, livers, feet, and many others, fill our racks.

Our Beef, to say in the least,
Is killed from the very finest of beasts.
We have choice, standard, and good,
With a quality that is understood.

We have rounds and loins, and ribs and chucks,
which all grade deluxe.
There are strips and tenders, clods and butts,
But these are only a few of our boneless cuts.

These products I have mentioned are only a few,
Of the tempting meats we are offering to you.
But all in all, we think our meats are the best,
So, why don’t you put Rockingham to the test.

It was published in the Shen-Valley Meat Packers News newsletter in Volume V, Number 7 in July 1958. The plant has since closed down.
