You think you know me, one who smiles,
A mother, teacher, social friend
Who listens gently to your talk
And always has a hand to lend.
But deep within there dwells a part
Thats nourished not by food at all.
Tis sights and sounds and fantasies
That grip my soul, for when they call.
The minds eye sees beyond the
sky,
Kaleidoscopic senses dance;
The heart sings songs as yet not born;
The total being is enhanced.
So if I seem quite deep in thought
The inner me has flown away
To nourish lifes deep richest source
Recharging me for earthly stay.
